NFL stadiums have gotten exponentially more expensive over the years. The reason? The NFL is a multi-billion dollar business, and a lot of pressure is placed upon its teams to produce venues worthy of hosting Super Bowls. In response, NFL teams are exploring every avenue to affording the perfect facility. Price: $527 million

Built in 2003, University of Phoenix Stadium was a massive innovation in modern stadium design, not to mention a huge upgrade for the Cardinals. It was the first stadium to include a retractable field (is rolled outdoors for the grass to collect sunlight, then rolled back indoors for game time). The venue has already hosted two Super Bowls in its short life, and it will undoubtedly host many more. There are over 14,000 on-site parking spaces around the facility.
